Angel Suncatcher
Have you ever wanted to give Stained Glass a try? Then this class is for you! Using a clear glass bevel cluster kit, you will create a charming angel suncatcher complete with a halo. Get your feet wet with this fascinating hobby, as you learn the basics of the copper-foil method of construction, first developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany. We supply all the tools you will need, and all materials and supplies are included in the class fee. No prior experience is necessary.

Mystical Mini-Panels
Join us for this fun and relaxing 3 hour workshop where the toughest decision is which color combination to use. Bring your favorite pieces of scrap glass, a few jewels, bevels, nuggets, cabochons or whatever you like and we will show you how to incorporate them into a mystical mini-panel. We will supply enough zinc U channel, wire and chain to complete one panel in class. Please bring to class your favorite scrap glass, nuggets or other accents, copper foil, glass cutting and soldering equipment and supplies, and needle-nose or chain-nose pliers.

Dragonfly Suncatcher
In this beginning lead-wrap class, you will create a delightful dragonfly suncatcher from pre-cut shapes and glass nuggets. You will learn how to stretch, cut and handle the lead to wrap glass and nuggets, add some wire and bring everything together to make the cutest little guy you’ve ever seen! You will want to make more to give as gifts. We supply all the tools you will need, and all materials and supplies are included in the class fee. No prior glass experience is necessary. The Art of Decorative Soldering
Let us show you how to enhance almost any stained glass project using decorative soldering techniques. You can kick your creativity up to the next level by adding bumps, brambles, bamboo and many other effects that help add exquisite details to your projects. Find out how different types of solder and copper foil, flux, soldering irons and temperature controls can help you add a touch of drama and make your projects even more beautiful. An overview of basic soldering techniques will also be covered in the class, so if your soldering is less than what you’d like it to be, then this class is for you. There is some home work that needs to be done prior to class. You need to have six strips of glass already foiled that are 1” wide by 6” long. Bring these with you on class day along with your soldering supplies and equipment. Prior experience is recommended. Class Fee: $35.00
Stained Glass RepairDo you have a broken piece of stained glass that you'd like to repair but don't know how? Do you know the basics of glass repair, but could use some expert coaching? If so, then our Stained Glass Repair Class may be just what you need. Join us as we lead you through the process of making a repair on a piece constructed with the copper foil method. We'll teach you how to remove the broken glass, explore some shortcuts for cutting the replacement piece and then putting it all back together. You will be able to get one-on-one advice working with your piece. Bring to class a small broken panel and your glass cutting and soldering equipment. Also bring a piece of glass to cut your replacement piece from. If you don't have anything that's broken, just bring an old project that you wouldn't mind to disassemble and put back together so you can learn how it's done. If you work with glass, you know it's bound to happen. Learn how to restore what you thought may have been forever lost. Class Fee: $35
Jewelry Making Classes
Beaded Earring Class
In this hands-on class, begin to explore the world of wearable art as you learn how to make beaded French hook earrings. We will supply you with enough head pins, sterling silver ear wires, and your choice of beads to make two pairs of earrings in the class. We will provide all of the supplies, and these are included in the class fee. A tool kit is also required and is not included. Tool kits will be available, and can be purchased on the day of the class if you need one. We will also have additional beads and supplies available for purchase if you would like to make more earrings at home. At the end of this class you will have two pairs of unique works of art, plus the tools and skills needed to create many more, just in time for Holiday gift giving. No prior experience is necessary. Beaded Bracelet Class
In this hands-on class, we continue to explore the world of wearable art as you learn how to make a Beaded Bracelet. We provide the supplies and using your choice of beads we will walk you through designing, sizing and assembling a bracelet in the class. All of the supplies to make one bracelet are included in the class fee. A tool kit is also required and is not included. Tool kits will be available, and can be purchased on the day of the class if you need one. We will also have additional beads and supplies available for purchase if you would like to make more bracelets at home. At the end of this class you will have a unique work of art, plus the tools and skills needed to create many more. No prior experience is necessary. Class Fee: $45.00. Tool Kit: $26.00
Dangle Bracelet Class
In this advanced level jewelry making class, we will combine the skills our students learned in our Beaded Earring Class and our Beaded Bracelet Class to make a charming piece with lots of movement that is sure to catch the eye. We provide the supplies and using your choice of beads we will walk you through designing, sizing and assembling a bracelet in the class. All of the supplies to make one bracelet are included in the class fee. A tool kit is also required and is not included. Tool kits will be available, and can be purchased on the day of the class if you need one. We will also have additional beads and supplies available for purchase if you would like to make more bracelets at home. At the end of this class you will have a fabulous piece you are sure to be proud of. Prior experience is required. Prerequisite is our Beaded Earring Classes. Class Fee:$95.00. Tool Kit:$26.00
Wire-Wrapped Jewelry
In this hands-on class, learn the basics of wire wrapping by turning a fused glass cabochon into a beautiful wire-wrapped pendant. The techniques you learn can also be adapted to wrap beads and other items into eye-catching jewelry. All supplies needed for one pendant, are included in the class fee along with a tool kit which is yours after the class. We will also have additional wire and cabochons available for purchase, making it easy for you to continue exploring this satisfying hobby at home. Please bring to class a ruler, a fine point black marker and a small knife, such as a pocket knife. No prior experience is necessary. Class Fee: $90.00
3-D Construction Classes
Angel Candleholder
Get a jump start on the holiday season and join in as we make these stunning Angel Candleholders. With a double skirt and a jewel for her head, she stands about eight inches tall, and is made with a spot just right to hold a votive candle. Students bring to class: a purchased 35mm jewel; seven angel pieces cut, foiled and edge beaded per our supplied pattern, and soldering supplies and equipment. This angel makes a distinctive gift and we are bringing her your way just in time for the holidays. Prior glass experience is required. Class Fee: $35.00
Moravian Star Candle Holder
Come learn how to make this spectacular star in our most advanced 3-D construction class. Fabricated from crystal bevels using the copper foil method, these stars make heirloom quality gifts for family or special friends. You can hang them up, or they can be adapted to become striking table decorations. They look very complicated, but once you learn the technique, they go together quickly. Glass bevels are included in the class fee, and you should pick these up when you sign up for the class as some homework is required before the beginning of class. Prior glass experience is required. Heart Jewelry Box
In this advanced level 3-D construction class you will make an exquisite jewelry box, with a hinged heart-shaped lid. These little boxes make fabulous gifts! Everyone on your gift giving list is sure to want one. In class we will show you some terrific shortcuts that will really speed up ALL your projects. Bring with you to class one square foot of your favorite glass (these boxes look amazing in Uroboros and Youghiogheny Art Glass!), your soldering and glass cutting equipment, copper foil, a pencil and an exacto knife. Prior glass experience is required. Class Fee: $35.00
Sandscope Treasure Box
We’re having a beach party! Have you ever gone to the beach and brought back tiny treasures to help you remember the fun? Instead of tucking them away out of sight, you can put them on display in a “Sand Scope” Treasure Box. In this class you will be making a sealed, beveled treasure box complete with sand and shells. We will provide these, but if you have tiny treasures you would like to use, bring them along! You can make a truly unique piece that will keep those precious memories alive. So beachcombers unite! Put on your Hawaiian shirt, pack up your soldering supplies and join us for our first ever beach party. You must have experience in copper foil construction and have your bevels foiled before class begins. Class Fee:$35.00
Bevel Jewelry Box
In this advanced level 3-D construction class you will make an exquisite jewelry box, complete with a lid and a mirrored bottom, These little boxes make fabulous gifts! Everyone on your list is sure to want one. In class you will construct the box itself and then learn how to attach hinges and a safety chain to hold the lid in place. Bevels are included in the class fee, and you should pick these up when you come in to sign up for the class as some homework is required before the beginning of class. Homework: All your bevels must be foiled prior to the beginning of class. On class day, please bring your soldering equipment, flux and solder as well as the bevels you have prepared. Wedgies and Professional Boxer are helpful but not required. Prior glass experience is necessary. Class Fee: $50.00
Stained Glass Wind Chimes
Imagine the gentle twinkling of a glass wind chime moving in the breeze. In this class you will create a unique work of art using your choice of various materials. You will learn how to drill holes in glass and construct a distinctive creation that will add a touch of whimsy to your garden or porch. We supply all the tools you will need, and all materials and supplies are included in the class fee. No prior glass experience is necessary. Class Fee: $40.00
Mosaic Classes
Mosaic Stepping Stone Class
Beautify your garden with a sparkling new garden stone and be the envy of all your neighbors and gardening friends! Join us, and learn how easy they are to make. In this class we will be making a stepping stone using the “Pouring Method.” We will show you how to prepare your mold, lay out your project and work with the DiamondCRETE mix. Before class day, you will need to come in and choose a design from several pre-selected patterns. You will need to come to class with your glass pre-cut and ready to go. We will also provide you with a list of common household supplies that you will need to bring with you on class day. In addition to the instructions, the class fee includes the pattern, the stepping stone mold, Antique White DiamondCRETE mix and some other supplies that you will need to make the one 8” x 8” stone. There are a few tools required, that are not included in the fee, some of which you may already have. We will have these available for purchase if you need them. At the end of this class, you will have a unique work of art that you can keep or give away. Once you learn the technique, you can create your own designs—house numbers, wedding or birth dates are just a few possibilities. This is a great way to use up some of your scrap glass. Prior glass experience is required. Class Fee: $60.00
Mosaic Frame Class Join us for this fun hands-on workshop and learn to make a mosaic using the grout method. Use our butterfly design or create your own. You will need to have your butterflies (or other design such as the flower in the picture on the right) cut out and ground prior to class. Bring some coordinating glass along to fill in the background. Also bring to class your glass cutting equipment, a small disposable bowl for mixing the grout, a bucket for water and a small sponge. You will need to purchase glue and grout at class. Prior experience is required.

Kid’s Mosaic Class
Especially for ages 11-15 We’re planning a special day for the younger crowd to come in and express their creativity in our first ever Kid’s Mosaic Class. We will supply all materials and instructions needed for assembly and grouting of a pre-selected mosaic project. We’ll furnish a few design ideas but encourage students to let their imaginations soar, and come up with a unique design all their own. At the end of the class students will have a completed project and the know how to embark on a fun and satisfying hobby. We will have more materials and tools available for purchase if students would like to make more at home. Space is limited to eight students. Class Fee: $25
Flower Pot Pen HolderExtend the gardening season all year long with our Mosaic Flower Pot Pen Holder. At first glance, it looks like a potted plant, but look closer and you'll find pens disguised as flowers. Choose from several of our designs and create a charming accessory that'll keep pens handy and look great in your home or office. These little flower pots also make great gifts for teachers, students, hairdressers, or store owners.
You supply the flowers and glass of your choice and we'll supply everything else you'll need to make one flower pot with a set of six pens in the class. They are fun to make and once you know how, you're sure to want to make more for friends and family. This is a two week class. Week one we will be working on the mosaic portion of the project. Week two we will be doing the grout and making the pens. When you're finished you'll have a whimsical project you're sure to enjoy for years to come. Class Fee: $65.00
Glass Fusing Classes
Teeny Tiny Trees Fusing Class
Join us for this super fun, super easy glass fusing class just in time for the holidays as we make teeny tiny Christmas trees. These little gems make great Christmas ornaments or you can tie them on to packages as an “extra gift.” This entry level class is perfect for a parent and older child to attend together, and a great chance to get your feet wet with glass fusing if you’ve been wanting to give it a try. We’ll show you how to make “liquid frit” and send you home with a recipe if you want to make this versatile medium to use on your own. We will furnish everything you need to make and decorate five trees in class, and we will fire them for you to be picked up at a later date. What could be easier? Prior experience is not required. Class Fee: $35.00
Hot Frit Workshop
Get ready for an afternoon of pure fun and learn how to add unique flair to your fused glass projects with Hot Frit. We will show you how to use a powdered frit mixture to “paint” your own designs onto the System 96 glass of your choice. We will have several colors of glass and frit to work with so be prepared to let your imagination run wild and create your own design, or use one of ours. The techniques you will learn in this class can be adapted to most any other fused glass project you have in mind. Please bring to class a small artist brush and tweezers. The size of the design needs to fit into a 4” X 4” area if you want to bring a design with you. Prior experience is not required. Class Fee: $75.00

Itty Bitty Frames Glass Fusing Class
In this workshop we will be making fused picture frames that you can decorate to your linking using the glass of your choice. We will show you how to add twisted wire to your project and fuse it right into the glass! We will also show you how to attach beads to add additional flair, that will make these a true work of art. Please bring to class your glass cutting and breaking tools. Prior glass experience is required. Class Fee: $65.00 plus the cost of your glass
